PHONICS SCHOOL | Grades K-2

In the Phonics Stage, students are building the foundational skills that will set them up for a lifetime of learning. Through phonics-based reading, oral memory, and engaging activities, children develop literacy, observation, and critical thinking while exploring God’s world with curiosity and wonder.

LOGIC SCHOOL | Grades 5-8

In the Logic Stage, students learn to think critically, ask questions, and connect ideas across subjects. Building on foundational skills from the Lower School, they explore literature, history, math, science, and theology with increasing depth, developing both intellectual and moral discernment.

GRAMMAR SCHOOL | Grades 3-4

The Grammar Stage builds on foundational skills and introduces students to more complex ideas in reading, writing, math, history, and science. Students learn to organize knowledge, express ideas clearly, and deepen their understanding of God’s world.

RHETORIC SCHOOL | Grades 9-12

In the Rhetoric Stage, students learn to think independently, communicate persuasively, and engage the world with wisdom and virtue. This stage emphasizes deep exploration of literature, theology, history, math, and science, preparing students for college, careers, and a life of thoughtful Christian leadership.

Rigorous study of Classical, European, and American literature, including epic poetry, Shakespeare, and modern works, paired with literary analysis and research projects
Advanced composition through the Lost Tools of Writing, culminating in multi-page essays and a 10-page research paper
